Saudi Arabia ranks third in the world in date production, with about 2 and a half crore date palm trees of 360 species. Saudi Arabia’s Al-Qasim City is home to the world’s largest palm grove, Al-Razihi Garden, which has about 2.5 million palm trees in an area of ​​5,000 hectares, producing about 45 varieties of date palms. Al-Razihi date orchard is inscribed on the Guinness Book of World Records.
