The most powerful telescope in history began its journey into space

The James Webb Telescope, the most powerful telescope in NASA’s history, has successfully launched into space from Earth’s orbit. The telescope started its journey into space at Christmas today after postponing the journey schedule several times.

It is thought to be the successor to the Hubble Telescope. It is also called ‘JWST’ and ‘Web’ for the sake of simplicity. Astronomers have been working on it for decades.

JWST is a joint venture between NASA, the European Space Agency (ESS), and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA). In the early stages of the launch, the telescope will be rolled into ESA’s Aryan 5 rocket. The Aryan 5 will depart from ESA’s ELA-3 launch complex in French Guinea.

The destination of JWST is 1 million miles away from the earth. The telescope has state-of-the-art equipment to unravel the oldest and most secret information in space. The telescope will collect the information of the first light particles scattered in the universe after the cosmic dark age. JWST will be able to identify the planets and stars hidden behind the dust clouds that have escaped Hubble’s eye. The telescope also has the ability to see galaxies that are invisible to the naked eye and giant black holes.
