The Amazon Forest full of mystery and adventure

The Amazon Forest, full of mystery and adventure; is the only forest in the world that is not owned by one or two countries but by nine countries.

Even if we put all the countries of South Asia together, this forest will not be equal in size. Because the area of South Asia is 52 lakh square kilometers whereas the area of this vast forest is 55 lakh square kilometers. The name of this forest is Amazon forest which is in the kingdom of all the amazing plants and animals with the gentle touch of nature. There is a river in the Amazon whose water can be cooked without any fire; anything can be boiled.

The Amazon Forest is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Half of the world’s rainforests are in the Amazon rainforest. The Amazon rainforest was created about 50 million years ago. Although the forest is owned by 9 countries; 80% of the forest is located in Brazil alone. Currently, about 20 million indigenous people live in this forest, of which there are about 400 species and about 50 species have no idea about civilized people. The world’s smallest human pygmies live in these forests and are known to civilized society as forest people.

The river that flows through the Amazon forest is known as the Amazon River. The Amazon River is the lifeblood of the Amazon forest. The river originates from the summit of Nevada Cincinnati in the Andes Mountains of Peru. It is the second longest river in the world. The Amazon River holds more water than any other river in the world. Of the few major tributaries, 16 are more than 1,000 miles long. The Amazon River flows through five countries and falls into the Atlantic Ocean. About 20 percent of the world’s water comes from this river.

There is a huge variety of animals and plants in the Amazon as well as size. There are about 3900 million trees of 40,000 species in this forest. Also 1300 species of birds, 2200 species of fish, 428 species of mammals, 36 species of reptiles, 427 species of amphibians and about 25 lakh species of insects. In addition to the immaculate beauty, many dangerous animals live in this forest. There are numerous venomous snakes in this Amazon forest including leopard, electric eel fish, carnivorous piranha, venomous dark frog.

Among the many large trees in the Amazon, there is a type of water verse called Victoria Amazonia, which is named after Queen Victoria of England. The leaves of this water verse can be up to 3 meters in size, even capable of carrying the weight of an adult human. Round designs can be seen in many parts of the part of the Amazon that falls in Brazil. How or who created these designs is still shrouded in mystery. It is thought that these designed places were used for burial or protection. However, many studies have not been able to find out what this design is made of.

Another wonder of the Amazon is the boiling river that flows through it. This water boils all day like boiling water in our furnace. The maximum temperature of this river can be up to 93 degrees. Scientists have not yet been able to determine the cause of the heat. About 20 percent of the world’s oxygen is produced in the Amazon, which is why it is called the Earth’s lungs. But sadly, the Amazon, like the rest of the world, is undergoing massive deforestation. The main reason for this is the settlement of trees in the forest.

Prior to 1980, access to the Amazon was banned. At that time a small amount was cultivated inside the Amazon. And because of the small amount of fertile land in the Amazon, people cut down trees and look for fertile land. Due to unplanned deforestation, experts believe that the Amazon rainforest could disappear in the next 50 years. The rapid deforestation has had an adverse effect on global warming. There are some mysteries in the Amazon rainforest that no one has been able to decipher or even get to the center of.
